Bondi. James Bondi baby.

Welcome back to real life!! I am feeling GOOD about being back in the routine today. Are you? I hope so. I got in an awesome cardio workout in this morning followed by 30 mins of legs and shoulders. I was so ready to just kill it at the gym today after feeling so holiday overloaded.
I found a new great on-the-go food. I've mentioned before that I struggle with protein. I don't like eat beef, pork, or fish, and I hate touching raw meat, so getting my protein in can be difficult for me. I found this chicken at the store today, and I decided to give it a try for lunch.

I wanted to give something a try that I could use for some easy lunch protein, and not have to worry about a lot of preparation. One serving of this chicken is 110 calories and has 23 grams of protein. It is higher in sodium, so I wouldn't make it a routine, but I actually really liked it. I made it into a wrap with some spinach, sliced green pepper, and a some salsa. Delish.

(The wrap ended up being 200 calories, and 30 grams of protein. Yeah baby.)
I added to that a side salad of steamed broccoli, carrots, spinach drizzled with a fat free honey dijon dressing. It feels good to be back to my high volume low-calorie meals. Yes, yes, it does.
GUESS WHAT I HAVE REALLY GOOD NEWS.
So, while I was Christmasing in Arizona, Rebecca from Bondi Bands sent me a Bondi Band to review. Thank you Rebecca. I LOVE it! If you haven't ever worked out with a Bondi Band, you're going to want to start. They are AWESOME. I absolutely hate having hair in my face while I work out. It drives me crazy. I actually can't have ANY clothing/hair malfunctions or else I go crazy and think about that the whole time. Not only do these headbands NOT slip back or anywhere for that matter, but they are FREAKING DARLING. They have so many cute patterns, sayings, designs to choose from. I was ultra impressed. Don't worry I know I look a wee bit scary. One of my clients told me the other day it would be ok if I got cancer because I look good with no hair...thank you?
SO...the good news? I have a Bondi Band for you! This darling little number could be yours! I'm sorry but how cute and hard core would you be working out with that skull on your forehead. Don't mess.

  21. What's the sweat factor on a Bondi Band? Are they absorbent? Do they retain heat? Just wondering. I need more info on the thing. It kind of looks like a swimming cap with a hole in the top. :) I'm a follower!
