I Am A Happy Camper.

I am so happy right now. For the following reasons...
- This weeks boot camp weigh in proved to be awesome yet again. Everyone lost weight, and it has been SO fun to watch little victories here and there.
- I had a great workout tonight. Elliptical. Stairs. Spin.
-  After spin Janae brought me some homemade sugar free jam and applesauce that Jen made for me. She brought it to the blogger meet up that I couldn't go to. It made my day!! Thank you Jen!! I can't wait to try it tomorrow. :)
- Instead of cooking dinner Benita and I went straight from spin to Pizza Factory for a trip to our favorite Salad bar.
- I had to renew my drivers license today...which wasn't that fun...however, I noticed on my old license my weight is about 13 lbs heavier than I am now. I have never even noticed it before, and weight isn't a huge deal to me, BUT it just reminded me of when I had my old license picture taken. I have made so much improvement in my health and my lifestyle since then. It was kind of fun to see. I mean i'm not mad about the 13 lb difference.... ;)
- I go to Arizona TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay! Get me out of this ridiculously cold weather. I'm going to be there until Monday night. I. Can't. Wait. Can you tell I'm excited? I am ready for a little break from getting up at 5 AM. It will be nice.

So many little things making me happy. I guess I am easily pleased. What are you happy about today? I feel like I could list a lot more. I love days like that. Was there ever a time in your life when your health was worse? or better? What did you change? The beginning of college wasn't my healthiest high point. I wasn't horrible, but I have come a long way. I'm so glad I chose to major in exercise science because it turned my life around.

Have fun in Arizona! I am happy that today I was able to spend time cuddling with my son, painting with my daughter and watching my kids do gymnastics. I am also thankful for my wine and chocolate and Modern Family with my hubby after a totally sucky hill workout. :)

Oh and yay for being 13 lbs lighter! This is so much better than realizing that you really should tell them that you weigh more than the weight listed. Or better yet (not so better) having the driver's license people ask you if you want to change something...strongly hinting that you are not the 115 lbs that your 16year old weight was. :) ha!

I believe I put on a cool 20lbs post graduation of high school and the beginning of my short college career. Which I believe coincides with your time frame as well. Hmmm, weren't we roommates at that time too? I blame it on Mel and Jamal.
Unfortunately, I was 9 months pregnant my last driver's license pic. It's awesome, I was at least 50lbs+ too, so you can imagine.

PS I left you a message a week ago, Why the face?!?!

It's the little things in life! 13 pounds is so awesome, way to go! My health has been a bit worse and also better. Right now I feel like I'm in a great health both physically and mentally, and the balance of the two is what the best :)
I'm excited for your trip to Arizona! Enjoy the weather and have a safe flight.

I totally agree that weight is just a number, but MAN am I glad that in NJ they don't list our weight on our license :) That's nuts!

Definitely the first two years of college, my weight went up like everyone else's and my running slacked off.

I cringe when I think about how often we ordered pizza back then!!

It's about time you had a little warmth and sunshine! You deserve it :) That salad looks AMAZING.

Awesome job with your boot camp peeps! I am not surprised at all that they are losing some L.B.s :)

Oh there was a time when I was definitely very unhealthy....I smoked, I was sedentary and I had no clue about portion control, so I ate enough food for a family of four probably. The result was not pretty, friend.

I've lost 60 lbs. since those days and I don't smoke anymore and I love exercise. I am a completely different person than I was...And that's pretty fantastic!

Have fun in AZ!!!!

Besides my early weight problems, my first two years of college were not the healthiest for me, which seems to be the case for many.

Great Job with the boot campers :D

I am so happy because the weather is finally getting back to normal in Texas. I HATE being cold. I was always thin and could eat anything until I turned 25. I put on about 20 pounds. I was still "thin", just not in shape. I started working out when I was 34 and 3 years later I am in the best shape of my life. It's not about a number for me, just the feeling I get from having a healthy body

It seems like it's always the little things that make me happy too! I hope you like the jam and applesauce. I have a husband who's a diabetic so we make a lot of stuff with out added sugar. 13 lbs. is HUGE! Good for you!
I bet it's so amazing to watch others change their life. What a great job you have.
Have fun in the sun, you deserve a break!

Beginning of college was probably my worst point as well. I was very active (cheered in college), but my eating was that of a typical college student - late night pizza, sweets, etc. I also majored in exercise science/sports medicine, and being in that program completely changed my view of health. I am quite proud to say I weigh 15-20 pounds LESS than I did in high school, and about 5 pounds less than when I got married three years ago. Congrats on the 13 pounds lighter - that makes for a good day!

Have fun in Arizona! The windchill here in TN tonight is below 0... sigh... and we have been out of school all week bc of snow (BONUS since I'm a teacher!)... but next week it is supposed to be 60 every single day. Yay!
