Mmmmm...that sounds good. I think I'll have that.

I am a huge fan of breakfast. Duh. Oatmeal is my number one choice. I love it. I am also LOVING that so many fast food and breakfast eatery's are now offering oatmeal as a quick and easy on the go option. Starbucks, Jamba Juice, even McDonalds are jumping on board. I've wanted to do a review of which of these options are best for a while now, so coming across THIS VIDEO made me verrry happy. It's a good quick overview of which on-the-go oatmeal options are best, and how to choose wisely when ordering this yummy delight.

Although I'll continue to stick to my chocolate peanut butter oatmeal

I still love these options for emergencies, road trips, or for those of you who otherwise wouldn't be able to get breakfast in.

Do you like oatmeal? I love it. It's cheap, filling and SUPER healthy. I especially love it in the winter when it warms me up! Have you tried any of the fast food oatmeal options? I haven't but I've actually heard a lot of good things about them. How do you eat your oatmeal? Chocolate PB combo and Banana PB combos are my fave...basically any combo that involves PB and a lot of cinnamon!

Cannot imagine life without oatmeal! I love hot or overnight oats...recently on a hot PB&Banana oatmeal kick. Mixing the banana in while heating the oatmeal adds such a rich consistancy...and a glob of PB just makes it perfect!
Starbucks oatmeal is fine, nothing special...I tried McDonalds (long story but not by choice I was out of town and helpless!) It was okay, tasted a little "off" and of course I found out they add a bunch of heavy cream and about 10 other random ingredients to it. GROSS!

I'm just starting to get into oatmeal, I've been having it 1-2 times a week. My breakfast almost always involves pb and banana anyways! My daughters eat oatmeal much more often and their favorite is made with soymilk, bananas, raisins, and cinnamon. I made a pumpkin banana oatmeal for them a couple of weeks ago that was delish, you should try it! The recipe is on my blog. :) I haven't tried any fast food oatmeal, but I'm glad to know its there if we are ever in a bind!

What a great segment! Thanks for sharing :)

I eat oatmeal frequently in the winter for breakfast. I like that I can put it all together in a tupperware then just add water and microwave at work. I usually put almonds and dried fruit like raisins or cranberries in mine.

I have never purchased one of the fast food varieties. I'm super cheap and don't like to buy things at restaurants that I can make at home for 10 cents. I'm the same way about getting pasta at a restaurant.

I love oatmeal but I haven't eaten it in a while! Once it starts getting warmer I dont crave it as much... But it's cool again so maybe today's the day to have it!!!

I LOVE the nutrition facts of oatmeal, but I've never been a huge fan... about a year ago I started eating it a few times a week mixing in protein, peanut butter, fruit, etc...

And then yesterday I made an Oat Smash from Katie (Healthy Diva Eats)'s blog! You basically prep your oatmeal and then put it in the fridge overnight and eat it cold in the AM... I am in love!!! Yess! I <3 cold oats! :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE oatmeal. Someone told me McD's oatmeal has more sugar than 2 snickers bars though. I haven't looked into it so it could be a farce.

I add chocolate muscle milk to my plain oats, leave it in the frige overnight, mix it into some chunks when I wake up and pour milk over it! YUM!

I ADORE oatmeal.

I started buying GF oatmeal lately, because I couldn't live without it!

I eat my oats all different ways. Some favorites of mine are: banana nut, gingered pear, carrot cake, mocha brownie, pb banana, peaches and cream, etc

I get Starbucks oatmeal when I travel, it's not bad. I like you can add whatever you want to it and the base is plain, just wish they weren't instant. I like theirs with the nut pkg, I skip the brown sugar and I usually bring the fruit home to use in something for Dan

Oatmeal is the best! I didn't have enough time to make mine this morning since I decided to sleep an extra 20 minutes (amazing), so I may have it for dinner tonight. :) I add some instant sf/ff pudding mix (chocolate or white chocolate), almond butter, LOTS of cinnamon, and sometimes banana. If there isn't a shortage of pumpkin I add that too. I have had Starbucks oatmeal - it's okay, but I prefer my homemade version. If you add all their toppings it will NOT be healthy in any way of course!

I'm making overnight oats this week for the first time, and I am super pumped about trying them!

LOVE oatmeal! and my favorite combos are the exact ones that you named. "peanut butter, chocolate, banana, cinnamon".... now my mouth is watering.

I've never tried 'fast food' oatmeal. My pre-assumption would be that its either loaded with extra calories via sweetener and nuts, or in order to keep it light on the calories, the portion ends end being tiny.

oatmeal is.. okay for me, i havnt really grown up eating it, so i guess im just not use to the baby-foody texture of it.
but it doesnt taste bad! i usually try mine with apples & cinnamon.

i did see the commercials for oatmeal at McDonalds though, but it sounds like its packed with sugar to me, with the Maple syrups and the brown sugars in it?
i dont know.. that cant still be healthy can it?

I tried the McDonald's oatmeal; it was okay but I ordered it with brown sugar so not as healthy. I ususally make my oatmeal with fresh blueberries and Truvia or bananas, cinnamon, and Truvia.

I am not really ever full after a little packet of oatmeal. Do you have anything else with it? After I work out I am usually in the mood to eat an elephant. I do love it though and was doing oatmeal with pumpkin and pb and bananas for awhile with tons of cinnimon and a touch of brown sugar splenda. SO do tell. In fact list your daily menu Pluh-ease!

i LOVE oatmeal, although i do have to eat 3-4 packets to feel full. the best is with banana, pb and lots of salt.

breakfast is just amazing in general. if i could i'd eat it every meal, and with so many different types of foods to eat with breakfast (that hit all the food groups) you can do it without feeling weird. or so i tell myself.

I like oatmeal, but I'm a little leery of fast food in general, who knows what really goes into it? I'll stick to rolled oats and Greek yogurt :-P

I LOVE oatmeal too! Cinnamon and vanilla are always a must, and I love to throw diced dates in. Really good for you and it sweetens it up enough you don't need anything else!
